Nail Polish Review | Sally Hansen Insta Dry | Butter-fly Stroke

In this post I will be reviewing the Sally Hansen Insta Dry in Butter-fly Stroke 10. The link is down below. Does this nail polish "insta dry"? We shall see.

When I applied it, the consistency of the product was quite thick, though color pay off is outstanding. It did dry pretty fast though, but like most of the nail polishes these days. My only concern is that it did not evenly coat my nail. There are some areas where it appears quite streaky.

Update: After a week or so, (if you zoom in on the picture) the ends of my nails started to wear out. If a top coat was applied, it may have lasted longer.

DIY | colored glassware |

I really loved the look of paint inside any glassware. They look perfect especially as flower vases! So here I am doing a diy! You'll need any glassware ( I used a snapple bottle, ps peach tea is my favorite flavor ), a brush that could fit inside the glassware, and enough paint.

This paint is inexpensive, I got this for only 98 cents! Get enough paint to cover the inside of your glassware. Since it is my first time trying this diy, I bought two small ones.

Here you peel of any label, but this is optional. You could also make your own label as well!

Now you are left with an empty bottle. Make sure it is clean and fully dry. Also, take any sticky residue from the labels off. How could you take it off? You may check out my post called " Review | sticker residue | " if you are curious.

Here, you pour in the paint inside and move the glassware around until the paint fully covers the inside. This process interested me somehow hahah.

After, make sure you pour excess paint back inside the bottle. This will help dry the paint easily. I only used half a bottle. I ended up not using the brush (which is optional).

Here I substituted a flag because I could not find any flowers around the house. I think flowers would work perfectly with the bottle for decoration. It took less than a day to dry but the bottom is still wet. I suggest to put the bottle downwards to fully take off the excess paint.

Review | removing sticker residue |

At some point in our lives, we may encounter a sticky situation. Here is a review on how to take off sticker residue! I will be reviewing the pam spray, vegetable oil, acetone, and alcohol to see which one works the best.

Here shows the sticky residue from a snapple bottle.

I used cotton rounds and let the product sink into the residue for awhile. ( right - pam spray ) ( left - vegetable oil )

( right - acetone ) ( left - alcohol )

Bottom line: The vegetable oil took off most of the residue. But the alcohol did a poor job than the others. I also tried it on a book as well. The acetone worked perfectly on the book ( with some pressure and rubbing ). I recommend using vegetable oil for glass and acetone for books.

DIY | clip frame |

Here is a quick and inexpensive diy! Every time I go to Target, I would always go to the dollar section ( usually located near the cashiers ). That place is a gem! There would always be inexpensive cute things ending up inside my basket.

For this diy, I bought a pair of clips. It could be any clip, but I prefer the thick ones. You could also diy the clips since they are usually wooden.

To make this, you need a picture and some thin cardboard paper. This will prevent the clips from damaging the actual picture. Insert these in the desire area and clip them with the clips.

Review | IPhone Cases |

Looking for an IPhone Case? Well here is my guide to help you find the perfect case( that sounded like an informative commercial, I apologize ). In this post I will show you cases that are somewhat protective, less likely protective, and protective.

Starting out with the somewhat protective. Here I have a hard silicone case ( brand - speck ) which is somewhat protective. I actually have a story for this; so if you are curious, please carry on and keep on reading.
So my friend promised me that she would not drop my phone and... she dropped it. The end. Just kidding. Surprisingly with a case similar to this, my phone did not crack as it fell off about waist high. It still works fine and it slightly dented a corner of my case.

What I look for in a case, is a case that protects the front screen. ( meaning that the border of the case is slightly higher than the front screen and that it secures it ) I apologize if you do not understand. My friends would say that they do not get my explanations. I accept my imperfect capability.

Here is a less likely protective case. I also have a story to this kind. Most of these tend to be very "decorative" and "pretty." The downside is that it does not fully protect your phone and it cracks ( as shown in the picture above, yes, that is one pretty gradient case ). Coming back to the story, my friend dropped it a feet below the concrete floor and boy did it break. Her phone was like this type, but it had an Eiffel Tower picture. At the end, we saw that her back screen cracked. Good looking case or protective case? The choice is yours.

Here is another less likely protective case. The the border usually only covers the two sides of the phone. This further increases the possibility of damage.

I do not have a protective case, but they are the most reliable ones. The brand that carries these is Otterbox and an example is in the link below. Looks wise, I think they are fine. It depends on your cup of tea. Personally, I think they are presentable but basic. They most likely do not have "artsy" designs on them.

Hopefully this helped you chose your future case. Bottomline, I would stick to somewhat protective cases. Also, pricing also contributes to the quality of IPhone cases. Take the safe side to prevent buying a new phone.

Haul | bath and body works |

During the month of June, many stores are having their semi-annual sales. I went to the front of the store and saw a sign that read, "$3 each!" Without any second thoughts, I bought three bottles right away. My total was nine bucks; with tax.

I was so excited to see that my favorite scents were on sale. Recently ( like a month ago ) I finished my Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion and was somewhat devastated. After I was done showering, I would look forward to smell that warm scent. Anyways, I was quite surprised as well; I thought the only items on sale were usually the seasonal ones.

I bought the Warm Vanilla Sugar ( lotion and body wash) : This scent is amazing! If you adore vanilla, then this is for you. It does not fully have that typical vanilla smell, but a lighter version of it ( hence the name says it all ).

As for the Japanese Cherry Blossom, it also has a somewhat warm smell to it. Both of these lotions are moisturizing and it makes your skin glow.

Reflection | Welcome! |

I have not made a proper introduction to my blog yet, so here it is! This place is hopefully a source where I could be able to inspire people in some way. Sorry in advance if my grammatical errors tick you off. Growing up, reading was not a part of my interest. I wish I would be able to change that by reading more books ( I do enjoy them, its my lack of motivation that slows down the process ). Also, I have other social medias, and hopefully I will get my Youtube Channel up and running. A reminder to myself in the future is to not delete any of my past works. I think "preserving" the old things helps reflect peoples life and their journey in some way. Though I may just edit them instead of deleting the entire thing. I created this so I could share things to people. I am an introvert; I usually keep things to myself...("auroraa" is just a user name)
